Why You Need Density for This Conversion

Density tells you how much a liquid weighs for a fixed volume. For example, water weighs about 8.34 lbs per gallon, while honey weighs close to 11.85 lbs per gallon. That’s almost 3.5 lbs of difference for the same 1 gallon.
